Question by amanesiuis: Stolen identity on Yahoo ! Answers?
Someone recently stole my identity on Yahoo! Answers. They changed my avatar and answered at least one question. I changed my Yahoo password. Will this fix the problem? Why and how would someone do this and what other dangers are there?
This should fix the problem. People do this because they get satisfaction out of annoying others and they have no lives. Hacking is illegal, so they can get arrested for it and even imprisoned if it’s serious enough.
I wouldn’t call it “identity theft” but what happened to you is definitely hacking. There should be no other dangers. If it continues to happen, just use another account.
